We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle DBA with 10+ years of expertise in Oracle Database Administration to join our team in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The role requires strong technical proficiency in Oracle 10g, 11g databases, RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, RAC, and performance tuning, along with hands-on experience in backup, recovery, and 24×7 production support. Experience in the banking domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Implement and maintain database security including creating and managing users, roles, and privileges.
- Manage standby databases across local and remote sites.
- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN and data pump utilities.
- Handle Oracle 9i, 10g, and 11g installations on UNIX, Solaris, and Windows platforms.
- Conduct performance analysis and tuning for production databases.
- Provide 24×7 production support and troubleshoot user issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve escalations and maintain SLAs.
Must-Have Skills:-
- 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
- Expertise in Oracle 10g, 11g, SQL Loader, RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, RAC.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning and backup/recovery strategies.
- Ability to work in shifts and on-call support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Competencies:-
- Exposure to banking domain environments.
- Experience in data pump, EXP/IMP utilities, and advanced recovery scenarios.
